The Level Check is a one-to-one conversation that is done to establish your level. The first conversation immediately after registration is a Level Check.

The assignment of the level is essential in order to be able to book subsequent conversations. In fact, only conversations of your level will be allowed for you to book.

It is possible to change your level by booking a new Level Check. These conversations can be booked by accessing the BOOK menu and locating the LEVEL CHECK submenu.

A one-to-one conversation lasts 15 minutes because it is comparable with the economic value used for your booking, that is, the value of a single talk. If you think you want to spend more time with the tutor there are two possibilities.

  1. Reserve 2 or more one-to-one conversation slots
  2. Ask the tutor that you want to use the conversation extension option. That is, at the end of the 15 minutes it is possible to use an additional talk (token) to continue for another 15 minutes.

The reasons can be 2:

  1. You are not logged in to our platform. Only registered and logged in users can book a conversation
  2. The reservation is closed. In fact, it is possible to book a conversation up to 2 hours before it starts.

The tutors are professional native speakers who conduct our conversations in a classroom. The tutor has two roles in the conversation:

  1. Be the conductor and moderator of the conversation, with the aim of making each participant interact equally and maintaining a decent and relaxing environment.
  2. Contribute to the improvement of the user’s language by providing suggestions on pronunciation and exposure methods

The duration of group conversations depends on the number of participants. With Feelfluent it is possible to reach a maximum of 5 participants as well as the tutor.

The duration of the conversations follows the following pattern:

  • 1 user = 20 minutes
  • 2 users = 30 minutes
  • 3 users = 45 minutes
  • 4 and 5 users = 60 minutes *

* a conversation never reaches exactly 60 minutes but ends 1, 2 minutes before to allow the tutor to move on to the next conversation

In order to book a conversation you need to have a TALK. It represents a sort of token by which you can book conversations.

However, the basic conditions are as follows

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: it is possible to cancel up to 4 hours before the conversations begin to obtain the re-accreditation of the talk used for the booking. This re-accreditation takes place automatically.
  • BOOKING POLICY: it is possible to book up to 2 hours before the conversation starts
  • TALK RE-ACCREDITATION POLICY FOR PROBLEMS WITH THE SESSION: if all booked users for the conversation report the impossibility of accessing the classroom due to technical problems, the talk will be returned to everyone. In this case it will be necessary to send an email to report the problem.
  • RE-ACCREDITATION OF THE TALK BECAUSE THE TUTOR DIDN’T SHOW UP: this is an extreme scenario that is not compatible with the agreements that regulate the working relationship between Feelfluent and its tutors. That said, there may be a last minute impediment to the tutors that prevents them from being able to participate in the conversation. In this case, the talk will be re-credited upon notification via email.

Feelfluent is a platform focused on the practice of the English language *.

It is therefore not a platform for language teaching and does not provide any study/revision of the structure of the language or homework.

Feelfluent is considered the GYM OF LANGUAGES and the practice activity takes place through real conversations within our video chats.

Our conversations take place in a relaxing and friendly and extremely pleasant atmosphere.

The Reservation Helper is used to identify group conversations in which there is at least one user booked and there are still available seats.

The aim is to avoid finding yourself alone in a group conversation.

In case you find yourself alone, the conversation goes into one-to-one mode and receives an extra 5 minutes bonus compared to 15 minutes of a standard one-to-one conversation.

To join a classroom you are not required to install any software. You could access our classroom by your browser. Here are the most important requirements

  1. The Chrome browser because it is the most tested
  2. A last generation of PC or Laptop or Tablet or Mobile with webcam
  3.  A WiFi connection. We recommend to test the speed of your connection because it really impacts your experience in our video chat classroom.
  4. In case you are experimenting a bad experience with the connection we recommend to you to restart your computer and eventually also your WiFi router before rejoining the classrrom again

Login to our website the day of your booked conversation, in the LOGIN-MY FEELFLUENT page you will see a list of your booked conversations for the current day and a countdown indicating the remain time before the first conversation starts. When the countdown finishes it shows you a pop-up inviting to enter the classroom. You can push the OK button to enter or the CANCEL button to discard. If you push the CANCEL button you will see a clickable link to the current conversation in case you want to join it a bit later.

To cancel a conversation you have to use MY-BOOKING tool. Here you can locate the history of your booking and you have the possibility to cancel your future conversations. We recommend you to cancel your conversations at least 4 hours before they start to get back the talk you used to book them.

In order to use Feelfluent you need to register on the platform. To register, access the REGISTRATION menu.

After entering all the required data and submitting the request, the system sends a confirmation email. It is necessary to click on the link contained in the email to activate your account. WARNING: check in the junk e-mail folder (SPAM).

Registration is free and is completed with the assignment of two talks (tokens) which are also free. The first talk must necessarily be used to book a Level Check, a 15-minute one-to-one conversation with one of our native speakers, which is used to establish your level.

The second talk can be used to experience an additional one-to-one or group conversation.

When you enter to the classroom you see only a white (or black) page it could depends on two options:

  1. You have an issue with your webcam. When you enter the classroom you have to allow the browser to use your webcam
  2. You are using an unsupported browser. We suggest to use Chrome as default browser for our conversation. This is the most used and tested browser with our platform.

The echo of one’s voice is typical of all audio chat systems. The technology used by Feelfluent is advanced and considerably reduces this problem but, if it should arise, it will be necessary to use an earphone (the one that is generally used with a cell phone is excellent).

To use the platform for free, you need to have talks. Here are the cases in which it is possible to have a talk for free

  • On registration you will receive 2 free talks
  • During the testing phases of the new features, Feelfluent uses a subset of users (early adopters) to whom it assigns talks to test the platform.
  • If a user reports a friend and this friend buys an 8 talk package. To receive your free talks, it is necessary to report the name of your friend via email to [email protected].
